In this episode, I’m sitting down with one of my bestest friends, Crystal — a woman I met 13 years ago when we were both stay-at-home moms with little kids.

With the “2016 trend” floating around social media, we started looking back at those early motherhood years — snow days, fancy hot chocolates, beach trips, small groups, and doing life side by side. And we realized something important:

It wasn’t easier back then.
We just weren’t doing it alone.

We talk honestly about:
🤍 Finding and pursuing real friendships
🤍 Mom anger and breaking shame
🤍 Marriage in the middle of motherhood
🤍 The pressure to compete with other moms
🤍 Transitioning from toddlers to teenagers (and adulthood!)

This conversation is for the mom in the trenches, the mom stepping into a new season, and the mom who sometimes wonders if the “good old days” are behind her.

Spoiler alert: They’re not.

The good old days are happening right now too.

If this episode resonates with you, share it with the friend who survived snow days with you. And don’t forget to follow the podcast and leave a review — it truly helps more than you know. 🤍
